Freely paint the local toy "Yahatauma"

Aomori's representative local toy, the Yawatauma, has been made since ancient times in the southern region of Aomori Prefecture, centered around Hachinohe City, and is now loved as a folk craft filled with love and wishing happiness for children and families.
Why not paint the palm-sized Yawatauma freely and create a one-of-a-kind Yawatauma? Supervised by Yawatauma Co., Ltd. Normally, artisans would cut out the horse and paint it by hand, but this one is delivered unfinished. It has been primed, so you can enjoy painting it beautifully with your own acrylic paints. All you have to do is attach the mane and tail with the included hair and it's complete. You can also display it unpainted, taking advantage of the natural wood grain. Try your hand at whatever you like, such as adding scrapes or arranging it with yarn or cloth.
