Can you hear the cool sound of tinkling?

We created an umbrella based on the motif of wind chimes, a traditional Aomori craft known as "Tsugaru Biidoro," known for its colorful and transparent look. The rounded silhouette of the umbrella resembles a wind chime, and the shimmer and texture of the glass are reproduced in an illustration. A beautiful design that expresses the scenery of Aomori's sea and sky with deep blue and spirally stretched glass spreads above your head. This transparent umbrella makes you feel like you can hear the cool sound even on rainy days.

YOU＋MORE！［ユーモア］|【6月分以降お届け】ガラスの音色が降りそそぐ　青森の伝統工芸　津軽びいどろの風鈴傘〈あおもりの海〉|津軽びいどろとは、かつて漁業用の浮玉を作っていた技術を応用して生まれた青森県の伝統工芸品。青森の四季折々の景色や自然を自社で開発した100種以上ある色ガラスで表現した美しい色合いが特徴です。

The deep blue and spirally extending pattern are captivating. The illustrations carefully recreate the horizontal streaks that appear as the glass cools, as well as the uneven surface.

The handle is transparent to resemble glass. *This is not a jump type.

On the left is the Nebuta, sold separately.

Tsugaru Vidro is a traditional craft of Aomori Prefecture that was created by applying the techniques used to make floating balls for fishing. It is characterized by the beautiful colors of Aomori's seasonal scenery and nature, which are expressed in over 100 types of colored glass developed in-house.
