If the theme is ``embroidery,'' Chuetsu Lace must be involved! That's why I came up with this ``lace bangle shirt.'' Chuetsu Lace's official name is Chuetsu Lace Industry Co., Ltd., and it is a long-established company founded in 1944 that sells embroidered lace, which is machine-embroidered lace on fabric. When I was working on the fall 2022 collection, I visited the factory for an interview. Although the latest machines are faster and more efficient at embroidering, it is important to maintain and maintain older machines that are no longer available and can give the embroidery a three-dimensional effect and create a tasteful look. It is used in This time, we asked Chuetsu Lace to create an embroidery that resembles a line drawing of a paisley motif. In addition to using an old embroidery machine, I also used thick cotton thread with #20 double thread to give it an even more three-dimensional look. The base fabric is from the Japanese fabric brand Shuttlenauts, which has a factory in Nishiwaki, famous for Banshu-ori. The fabric that is woven using a shuttle loom, which is the origin of the name Shuttlenauts, has a fluffy texture and soft texture because the threads are not pulled too much during weaving. This time I had a lot of trouble with the design. Using embroidery fabric all over the surface would have too much of an impact, so I had decided to use only a few parts, but it was difficult to decide where and how much to use, so I had to redo it 5 times before the final sample, and finally, it's a masterpiece.
