Sparkling jewels awakened from their slumber.

Delicate painting, opal-like sparkle, flowers carved like reliefs. A collection of glass cabochons that will make your heart flutter just by looking at them. Most of the items are dead stock found in a warehouse in Germany, and we deliver authentic vintage items that have been awakened from a long slumber every month.

A cabochon is an imitation gemstone characterized by its flat back and dome shape. In the late 19th century, rhinestones were created by processing crystals harvested from the Rhine River, and later, glass processing developed to create various imitation gemstones, including cabochons. Cabochons, which were used in costume jewelry with free and bold designs, captivated Hollywood actresses of the time with their brilliance. It's romantic that they have come to your hand after so much time.

The joy of knowing which of the many designs you will receive is something you can only have with vintage items. We hope you will enjoy imagining to your heart's content the craftsmanship behind each and every intricately crafted piece, and the background to its manufacture at the time.
