猫部|コミック『猫のおふくちゃん』第1巻|やじまけんじ。営業職や書店員、イラストレーターなどさまざまな仕事を経験してから30歳を過ぎてマンガ家になる。エージェント会社コルクで編集者やマンガ家仲間と机を並べ、マンガ漬けの日々を送っている。現在、『コッペくん』、『猫のおふくちゃん』をWEBで連載中。読むと世界がちょっと気楽に見えるような、片付けたばかりの部屋でコーヒーを飲みたくなるような、そんな気持ちになれるマンガを描きたいと思っている。日曜日はおやすみ。

Kenji Yajima. After working in various jobs such as sales, bookstore clerk, and illustrator, he became a manga artist when he was over 30. He sits at the same desk as editors and fellow manga artists at the agency Cork and spends his days immersed in manga. He is currently serializing "Koppe-kun" and "Ofuku-chan the Cat" online. He wants to draw manga that makes the world seem a little more relaxed when you read it, and makes you want to drink coffee in your newly cleaned room. He is off on Sundays.
