[LIVE WORKS] welcomes Tomomi Ueda and Masaharu Hoshino's duo art unit "BOB ho-ho" to "Good Job! Center Kashiba" every year, and the members and staff work together. A collaborative project for silkscreen printing. FELISSIMO 's participation in the 7th LIVE WORKS in 2023 was realized due to the enthusiastic love call of Fu, the owner of Foods Note, who has been using the items created at this LIVE WORKS for several years. *Photo left: Mr. Masaharu Hoshino Middle: "Good Job! The motifs printed on the small version are all designed by Mr. Ueda. With a focus on geometric patterns, the design, which was born out of exhaustive calculations, is conscious of "a shape that does not belong to anyone", and is sophisticated yet tasteful and lovely. Such a symbol-like form meets the colors that Mr. Hoshino mixes according to the sensibility of the printer who holds the plate, and appears on the cloth. And then someone else's version is superimposed. LIVE WORKS is a collaborative project where everyone prints on one sheet to complete one work (product), rather than one person completing one sheet. This one piece we delivered is a special one-of-a-kind piece in the world, created by everyone's "one print" and "one print". Please enjoy the chance encounter with this piece.
How to …… [Select a plate] There are many small plates that are easy to print even by yourself. From over 100 motifs designed by Mr. Ueda, you can freely choose the version you are interested in.
How to …… [Choose a color] Choose one color for each plate from about 130 colors of ink prepared by Mr. Hoshino, including transparent and opaque types.
How to … [Printing] The main “printers” are the members of Good Job! Center Kashiba. Applying a lot of ink and printing quickly, printing strongly, and so on... There are various ways of printing depending on the member. It doesn't matter who prints where or how, everyone can print freely as they wish. The members, the staff, the designers, the suri-shi...the people with and without disabilities, regardless of age or occupation, all of them were completed by meeting each other's "one print" and "one print". It is a special "one-of-a-kind" item.
We use dead stock fabrics with various patterns such as stripes, polka dots, checks, and floral patterns. One side uses the selvage of the fabric as it is, and three sides are sewn.
It can be used in a variety of fun ways, such as wrapping a lunch box, laying it out like a luncheon mat, or hanging it on a basket.
For example: Although it is not decided at all who will print which motif in which color and where, each one has a wonderful finish that gives off its own individuality. This is the great thing about "LIVE WORKS". fun!
Some are refreshing.
Some are quite thin. (Actually, this is a dead stock fabric of "luxury shirting" that was supposed to be a shirt!)

[message from BOB ho-ho] Our "printmaking site" is like a crystal born from a sensory workshop. We hold workshops in various places for various people and places (welfare workshops, nursery schools, educational sites, museums) so that everything expressed by making is an homage. [Good Job! Center Kashiba] A disability welfare service office that aims to create new jobs for people with disabilities through art and design. People with disabilities create original products and sell attractive products made at welfare facilities nationwide. We also run a cafe.
* There are various things such as ink splashing, fading, misalignment, and back reflection, but please enjoy all of them as a taste of hand-printed works.
Someone's certain "first edition" has gone wrong. sorry. Ah...I'm sorry, I'm faint. Not the world. After that, someone's "first edition" snuggles next to me, overlaps, oh, oh, nice! Hmmm, it's coming! The first edition, which seemed like someone had printed it roughly, and the spilled ink, when it was finished, it was a special "one move" like "Thanks to this, it has a dynamic feel. It has a good taste!" "become. Art is born from the many coincidences of the moment when there is no failure or correct answer. "This one piece that happened to be born at this moment, and it happened to you." Please enjoy the "coincidence" that is the great attraction of "LIVE WORKS". * The project description is also included in the "Information Card" delivered with the product.
