From "reading" to "writing, wrapping, and giving." Paper items that are twice as precious are born!

A set of A4 paper, message paper, and masking tape printed with original patterns. In fact, it's not just cute. It's not just recycled paper. This paper was originally someone's beloved "reading material." It's three types of special recycled paper made by sorting old books that had outlived their usefulness and were collected by secondhand bookstores but couldn't be sold into "books, manga, and magazines." The paper recycled from old books that enriched someone's soul was transformed by the Mimimi Laboratory from "reading material" to "paper items," and its uses have expanded even further. Imagine the history of what books once were, and find a way to enjoy it that suits you.

The paper items are a collaboration between Value Books, an online bookstore that aims to "change society with books," and Misan3 Laboratory. The A4 paper is the perfect size for a paperback book cover. It comes in a set of 10, so you can use it in a variety of ways, such as wrapping small gifts or making bags. The message paper also comes in a set of 24, so please use it as much as you like.

[Misan 3 Research Report] It seems that nearly 30,000 used books arrive at Value Books every day! However, only about half of them are priced and resold as used books... The vast remaining half is sent to paper recycling, but the paper that became the paper items this time was made from these "priceless used books" that were recycled. They were divided into "books, manga, and magazines," and each was made into a special recycled paper. For more information, please see the "Story" page.

You might even find tiny fragments of letters! Enjoy the slightly different colors, textures, and personalities of the three types of recycled paper used: books, manga, and magazines.

The masking tape included in the set is made from recycled paper made from waste materials produced during the production of coffee filters. It has a nice texture that is not found in ordinary masking tape.

[Paper that was once a book] A4 paper is the perfect size for a paperback book cover. How nice to wrap a book in paper that was once a book. [Masking tape] Available in two colors: light blue and gray purple.

[Manga paper] A4 paper can be put into a clear folder, and is a size that is easy to store and handle. It is perfect for wrapping small gifts. You can also make bags with it. [Masking tape] Available in two colors: yellow and lavender.

[Magazine paper] You can make cute wrapping just by rolling it up. [Masking tape] Available in two colors: rose pink and warbler.

At the "Mimimi Laboratory," three researchers are researching unique things and events that make the earth and society happy. Currently, they are interested in "products + creations" that have "things + stories." They would like to deliver the excitement of "discovering, enjoying, and thinking a little about" new stories. The "Mimimi Laboratory" tickles your intellectual curiosity. Please give it a try!

The "Mimi3 Laboratory (MimiMi)" has three researchers (and one cat) of different ages and hobbies. However, even though they seem completely different, they also have a lot in common, such as their love of books and being "emotional hunters" who love to collect wonderful things happening in the world. We would like to introduce to you all the fun things that the three of them have found. Please look forward to it!
