This genuine leather shoe series was started by a shoe manufacturer in Nagata, Kobe, and shoemaker Masaru Maeshiro, by creating a prototype that fits Japanese feet. The first model, a lace-up shoe, was released in 2016 and became a huge hit, gaining popularity for its sneaker-like comfort. It has now become a standard model, supported even by people who don't normally wear leather shoes.
This leather shoe, which can be said to be the origin of such a project, is now being released in sheep suede as a model commemorating the 20th anniversary of Japanese Craftsmen Project. The material is made of sheep leather processed into suede, and is characterized by being softer than cowhide or pigskin. The moment you put your foot in, you will feel a gentle, enveloping fit. Felissimo staff, who have tried on many shoes, have given this fit their stamp of approval, saying, "It's the most comfortable fit ever!" It has become the most special fit in the series' history.
The color is gray, which highlights the silky texture of the suede. The color is not too bright, so it can be matched with anything with a black feel, and it creates a sense of openness for your feet. To avoid the shoes looking too long, a medallion decoration is placed on the toe, and the overall impression is tightened with black shoelaces.
The series' common features, such as the long toe that makes high-arched and wide feet look smart and the design that does not hit the ankle, are still intact. We are proud of the eight sizes available from 22.0 to 25.5 cm. The shoes are made of soft sheep suede, making them easy to wear, and are a special pair that we recommend you try even if you are worried that leather shoes might hurt your feet.
