Among the many indigo dyes, this is a genuine indigo dye using Awa indigo, which is known for its clear and beautiful blue color. This ear cuff is made of shell parts dyed by artisans using this special indigo. There are three different sizes, so you can enjoy various coordinations. The metal parts are finished with 22K gold plating. The unique expression born from nature will decorate your ears every day.

Awa indigo is a traditional dye that has been used in Tokushima since the Edo period, and this is used in genuine indigo dyeing. The shell parts carved from Takase shells used in high-quality shell buttons are dyed using indigo dye (Awa indigo) made from Tokushima-grown Polygonum indigo, using a traditional lye fermentation method. Due to the characteristics of the shell, the depth of color varies from one bead to another, and a marbled pattern appears. Please enjoy the unique characteristics of natural materials.
