Wrapped in Tosa washi paper for a casual, special touch

Tosa washi paper has a history of over 1000 years. Its thin, beautiful colored paper is a feature of Tosa washi paper. Morisa Co., Ltd. in Kochi Prefecture is working on new expressions by mechanizing the traditional techniques of Tosa handmade washi paper while preserving them. They say that the method of carefully making the paper using wisdom and ingenuity while using machines has not changed from the past to the present. One example is "rakusui paper," which is made by dripping water onto the surface of thin paper to create a pattern. The strength and amount of water used changes the appearance of the pattern, so the craftsman's intuition is important. We made envelopes in two sizes using rakusui paper, which is thin, durable, and has beautiful colors and patterns. It can be used for a variety of purposes, such as when giving a small thank you. The (large) is suitable for A5-sized notebooks and books, and the (small) is suitable for business cards, cards, accessories, etc. Keep it on hand and use it casually and stylishly.
