Among Nishijin-ori, Kinran is a type of patterned fabric that is woven using gold leaf, silver leaf, gold thread, and silver thread so that the pattern stands out. The depth of the pattern and gorgeous coloring are impressive.
Matilda Roseanne Bregion, who designed the MINAMO pattern, is a French-born creative director and designer based in Paris and Kyoto. Inspired by Japanese culture, it aims to create a creative bridge between East and West.
