Darning, the increasingly popular way to mend tears in socks and clothes, is a fun pastime that many people enjoy, and we're introducing some ideas to make it even more fun. Using a small loom called a "weaving loom," you can enjoy darning while creating a variety of woven fabrics. Each time, you will use DMC's wool embroidery thread "ECO VITA" to create four woven patterns on a tubular knit. It's fun to see the various patterns that emerge depending on how you thread the thread. The kit comes with a generous amount of thread, so you can practice with it before actually darning.

Darning the tubular knit fabric The woven pattern is applied to tubular knit fabric specially made in a sock factory.

We use naturally dyed ECO VITA wool embroidery threads from DMC. We will deliver 5 colors at a time. There will be a total of 35 colors in 7 deliveries.

The weaving pattern sample book is also completed, and then pasted onto the pattern mount included in the set along with the thread to complete the weaving pattern sampler.

Set the loom in the area where you want to create the woven pattern.

The warp threads are tensioned by repeatedly scooping up the knitted fabric on the hook.

Pass the weft thread through. The hook function allows the warp thread to be interchanged for easy sewing.

Hole socks are back!

It can also be used as Pocket!
