The back zipper has a long ribbon, so it's easy to put on and take off, and when it's hot, it's easy to adjust by lowering the zipper a little. I always had a hard time getting sand out of Pocket, so the zipper Pocket is definitely convenient! I wish it was attached on both sides. I was able to put in some beautiful shells and stones that my child had found at the beach. Even if it gets wet, it dries quickly, and it's light and doesn't need to be bulky to carry. Thumbholes on the cuffs are good for sun protection, but there is a little too much room for my fingertips, so water can easily get in through the cuffs...I think it would be even better if it had a better fit!
