If you do not pay the tariff and/or clearance fee, and the product is returned to Felissimo,

In some countries/regions, taxes and surcharges may not be charged if the product is within the amount of exemption for personal use.
(But, the amount of the tax exemption may be very small in which case taxes and duties will have to be paid.)
In some countries/regions, taxes and surcharges may be as high as the cost of the product or even higher.
For countries/regions which delivered by DHL, customers need to afford "DHL Advance Payment surcharge" when there are duties and taxes charged by customs.

1) Regarding Taiwan EZWAY
Real-Name authentication has become mandatory due to the upgrade of Taiwan's customs system from July 1, 2022.
If you are living in Taiwan, please download and install the APP named EZWAY.
Please register your personal information such as name, mobile phone, email address, etc. beforehand.
*Please also make sure the registered contents match the information of your FELISSIMO membership.
DHL will inform customers through SMS or email after the parcel is shipped, please use the APP to complete the real-name authentication in advance.
If you did not register beforehand, or if your registered contents differ from your FELISSIMO membership information, the customs will not accept the declaration and the parcels could not be delivered successfully.
If you receive a notification from DHL (SMS/Email), please verify in advance in the APP.
If you do not pre-register, or the registration information is different from the FELISSIMO member registered information, there will be no possibility of customs clearance and shipment. When the storage period expires, DHL may charge the customer a storage fee, which the customer is responsible for paying.

2)Regarding duties and the customs clearance process
The receiver are typically responsible for the payment of duties and taxes,
the receiver needs to pay DHL the charges, so that DHL will deliver parcels.

DHL will charge the receiver additional TWD420 for 'Duty tax processing advance payment'.
To ensure DHL will not charge the receiver the 'Duty tax processing advance payment', FELISSIMO suggests the receiver to finish the following steps:
①Register 'EZWAY/ Real Name Authentication'
②Register 'CPT Single Window'
Update DHL
Import shipments with a value lower than TWD2,000 can have up to 6 times per 6 months without paying import duties and taxes. When the number is exceeded, import duties and taxes will be levied in full.
Felissimo may include gifts along with your purchases. Although they are declared to be ¥1 in value on the customs invoice, you will not be actually billed for these items.
In such cases, the invoice will indicate ¥1 for processing purposes only.
Please be aware that customs in some countries/regions may charge taxes and other surcharges on the gifts based on the value or volume of the package for the gift.
