``Maruman'', which was founded in 1902 and produces Banshu-ori, is a textile manufacturer that is highly trusted by high-end brands overseas. We are developing an original textile brand, POLS, by leveraging our advanced technology to delicately weave yarn-dyed colors. So far, we have worked together on stoles and hair turbans, but this time we created POLS' first fabric wooden stool. We started planning together with Maruman's brand designer, Kohei Maruyama, who had been warming up the idea. For this stool, we commissioned a new design from internationally active textile designer Kanako Kajiwara, who wove it with material used for chair upholstery. Molle thread is used to create a textured texture that gives it a nice texture. The production of the furniture was commissioned to a workshop in Aichi Prefecture that also handles furniture from famous manufacturers. As we are a studio that also produces many sofas, we have created a light yet comfortable seat with a fluffy seat surface. This cute stool with small wooden legs is the perfect size to fit in any room. You can use it anywhere you like, such as the living room, entrance, or bedroom. You can take it to places where you couldn't put a chair before, so you can read a book, drink tea, and enjoy your lifestyle wherever you like. The stylish yellow and orange color (lemon tea color) looks like a vintage item. Since it's a basic color, it blends in nicely with any space.

We created a fabric wooden stool with POLS, the original textile brand of Maruman, which was founded in 1902.

The production of the furniture was commissioned to a workshop in Aichi Prefecture that also handles furniture from famous manufacturers. As we are a studio that also produces many sofas, we have created a light yet comfortable seat with a fluffy seat surface.

Weighing approximately 3 kg, it is easy for even women to move.

You can use it anywhere you like, such as the living room, entrance, or bedroom.

You can also place it near the sofa and use it as a foot rest.

Mr. Kajiwara designed two new patterns for this stool. The stool (on the right, sold separately) is made of green and brown textiles inspired by a mossy forest, and is named ``Chocolate Mint Color'' because of its coloring.
