This is a special product made of "combination tanned" leather that combines the advantages of "chrome tanning," which is flexible and strong, and "vegetable tanning," which becomes more comfortable the more you use it. The leather is "unpolished" with almost no coating, so it has a matte, natural texture that fits the hand, and will develop a moist and deep look over the years you spend with it. This is "unfinished" leather that is dyed and then finished with almost no chemicals. The finish preserves the natural look of the leather, allowing you to see the characteristics of the material, such as wrinkles and streaks. Because there is no coating, the more you use it, the more it will fit your hand and develop a glossy finish.
