Banshu woven snood with a nice shape.

Banshu-ori snood made of cotton blend with beautiful overlapping colors of yarn-dyed yarn. The shirring effect of woven nylon stretch yarn creates fluffy volume just by wrapping it. In addition to snoods, you can also wear it like a mini scarf or use a bolero to cover your shoulders, arms, and back. It's as light as a feather robe, and you'll almost forget you're wearing it.

Banshu-ori is a traditional textile that has been in the Kita-Harima area of Hyogo Prefecture for over 200 years. The workshop ``Oribaka'' continues to take on new challenges while inheriting that tradition. This time, the fabric is woven with a twist on the double gauze technique, leaving the edges of the fabric that would normally be cut off, creating a snood that takes advantage of the tube shape. He spares no time and effort, washing the fabric by hand a total of six times to achieve the ideal fluffiness, and with his tireless research spirit, he is injecting new charm into the history of Banshu-ori.

el:ment［エルメント］|el:ment　ボレロにもなるふんわり羽衣心地の播州織コットン混スヌードの会|兵庫県北播磨地区に200年以上続く伝統織物、播州織。その伝統を受け継ぎつつ、新たな挑戦を続ける工房「織馬鹿」さん。今回の生地はダブルガーゼの技法にアレンジを加えた織り方で、通常は断ち落とす生地端をあえて残し、筒の形状を生かしたスヌードに。理想のふんわり感を実現するため生地を合計6回も手洗いするなど、手間ひまを惜しまず、たゆみない研究心で、播州織の歴史に新たな魅力を吹き込んでおられます。
