If you don't want to throw away that fabric, try turning it into thread and knitting it.

Slash rugs, which can be used to upcycle scraps and old clothes lying around the house, are now available for the first time at Couturier. Cut the fabric into strips and strings, then knit them round and round with special bamboo needles to create any shape you like. After practicing with the fabric in the kit, you can then create an original piece with fabric you already have. It's easier than knitting with needles or crocheting, so Beginner are welcome. Slash rugs are fun to knit, convenient to use, and eco-friendly, and we have a feeling they'll become a standard in our lives in the future!

Make a tape by cutting or tearing a slit into the edge of the fabric.

The tape is connected to make it longer, and then knitted using a special needle.

The fabrics we deliver are also made from leftover fabrics from Couturier kit. In addition to the basic patterned fabrics such as floral and striped patterns, we also include fabrics left over from the process of making Couturier kit as a bonus. There may be some fabrics in there that look familiar? Look forward to it!
